The 74 Names Jie Ming a "Bright Spot" for Literacy Education

The 74, a nonprofit newsroom that covers education across the United States, has included Jie Ming Mandarin Immersion Academy in their list of "Bright Spots", an award that recognizes schools across the country that are beating the odds in literacy education. Bright Spots is a data-journalism project of The 74.

The Bright Spots Project highlights schools where students are thriving, and specifically, where third-grade literacy scores are outpacing expectations.
