Beth Morrell
From the moment I walked into the beautiful entryway at Jei Ming, with its red lanterns, and a warm greeting from your Principal, Bobbie Johnson, I knew it was going to be an honor and a privilege to work with your children. I will work diligently to help your students become better readers, writers and speakers. I cannot wait for your students to have a book in their hands and get lost in the content. You can even encourage the most reluctant readers to lose themselves in a book.
This is my first year teaching in Saint Paul Public Schools and my first at Jei Ming. As a part of my 17 years of teaching journey, I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s growth. In addition to teaching the reading curriculum, I focus on creating excitement about learning. My teaching philosophy centers on the student and creating a welcoming and supportive classroom to foster their success.
When I am not at school, you can find me in Northfield with my husband and family, finding a new trail to hike with our dogs, watching my twins play soccer, watching my son mountain bike, or steadying my heart by communicating with my girls from afar, one at the University of Minnesota, and one on Rotary Exchange in Denmark.
