你好 ! Hello!                                                                                

My name is Yi Li. Students call me Li Laoshi. (teacher Li). I will teach Chinese Culture class for K-5 students. I was born and grew up in Liaoning province, China. I have earned both a bachelors and master’s degree in China. After I graduated, I taught Chinese in middle and high school levels in South Korea for two years. I moved to America in 2010, and I taught in a Chinese immersion school for eleven years.  It is delightful to see students starting to speak in Chinese.  I finished the Master of Elementary school education focus on Dual language and immersion program at the University of Minnesota. I earned my K-6 teaching license and master degree.  

I live with my husband, my daughter, and my parents in Spring Lake Park, MN.  I love to cook, travel and spend time with my family.

I am looking forward to teaching students’ Chinese culture. I hope I can provide students with deeper knowledge of Chinese culture, thus enabling them to better understand China.
