Love, Maki

I am Maki Love, one of the school counselors at Jie Ming. I help meet the social/emotional, academic, and college/career needs of students through classroom lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling. I love helping students find their strengths in order to be successful!  

This is my first year at Jie Ming and I am so excited to get to know the school, students, families, and staff. I will be working with students in Kindergarten and 1st grade. I am split between two schools, so I am at Jie Ming on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Monday.

In my free time, I enjoy camping, spending time at the cabin, reading, walking my dog (Noodle), playing with my cat (Black Kitty), and baking treats.
